   I came upon this posting yesterday and was pleasantly surprised…however, the date of death is wrong. This baby is my father’s brother. My grandmother was a girl of 14 living in Yugoslavia in 1905 and did not marry until 1911 when she came to Welland. I am not certain of the date of this baby’s birth or death, but would guess at 1914 considering the birthdate of her next child. Thank you for this announcement though; I forwarded it to the rest of our family.

   I have found a family picture of the deceased infant and it is dated 1914…another adjustment necessary. Thank you.

   Hi Ann
   I double checked both the Welland Tribune and the Welland Telegraph for 1912 and these two obits appeared in them. The Telegraph did mistakenly date the 4th as Saturday but it was actually Wednesday. I have included both of the obits.

   I do hope this clears up the time of death.
