    Looking for any information on the Dewdrop School, Built 1861, and became part of the Public School Act 1865,located on Cambridge Road at Brown Road in Welland, South East corner of Concession #3,Lot 21, Section 8. Principal Dean Culliford of 1050, and the teacher at the time of 66 students was Miss Jean Bates.

    At this time I don’t have any information on the Dewdrop School. Will keep an eye out for anything related to the early school.

    I ATTENDED DEW DROP SCHOOL IN 1960 AND 1961. IT WAS A 2 ROOM SCHOOL HOUSE WITH GRADES 1 THROUGH 6 IN 1 ROOM AND GRADES 7 AND 8 IN THE OTHER ROOM. I HAVE NO PICTURES EITHER THEN THOSE IN MY MEMORIES

      Hello Stan, We do have a few pictures of the Memorial PS. Use “memorial” (without the quotes) as a search term in the Search box at the very top of this page. When the search is complete, scroll down until you see the photos. Hope this helps!
